SIN | By sex workers for sex workers

SIN Board

The SIN board is responsible for governance decisions for our organisation and is accountable to our members. The SIN board is guided by the SIN Constitution.

As a peer organisation, all of our members and board members are past or current sex workers.

New board members are elected each year at the SIN AGM (held in October each year), as voted for by SIN members.

Board positions include:

  • President
  • Vice-President
  • Secretary
  • Treasurer
  • General Members
  • Proxy Members (to stand-in when sitting members are unavailable)

If you are interested in learning more about the board or nominating for a position at the next AGM, you can get in touch by emailing thesinboard@sin.org.au

To nominate for a board position, you must be a current member of SIN. Membership is free for all past and current sex workers.

SIN would like to acknowledge the Kaurna people as the traditional custodians of the Adelaide region, where we live and work, and recognise the Kaurna peoples’ cultural, spiritual, physical, and emotional connection with their land. We honour and pay our respects to Kaurna elders, both past and present, and all generations of Kaurna people, now and into the future. We acknowledge that this land was stolen, and sovereignty was never ceded.
